This day last year I decided to make a change for the better and I have never looked back.

I stepped in the door at KJ and did 2 days strength and conditioning a week for 6 months.

  • I grew in strength, confidence and lost 20 lbs.
  • Then in the July I took part in my first powerlifting competition and loved it, so I joined the powerlifting team. BEST decision I’ve ever made – with the help of James Higgins I’ve got stronger, leaner and healthier.
  • I’ve become more confident in myself and my ability, bonus lost a further 13 lbs.
  • The members in KJ are so supportive of one another. It really is like no other gym. I’ve had bad days,even weeks but I got passed it and started again.

KJ Strength & Performance is a gym like no other, do not mistake it as similar to other gyms. You will not find the atmosphere you find in KJ anywhere else, fact.

Only two things are required from you when joining KJ.

Effort and Consistency, after that with the help of coaches James and Ger, other aspects of your training and diet will be looked after.

  • The results are highly rewarding mentally and physically. I cannot emphasise enough how vital it is to at least give it a go because once upon a time I never had the slightest interest in strength training or even going to a gym.
  • I have found a lifelong hobby and lifestyle that I could not go a week without!
